Yoko Otoshi

Yoko-otoshi the side-drop is a relatively simple to execute sutemi-waza. As a normal grip is taken, the leg on the side of the hikite slides down to the outside side of uke, as tori sits down with it. Use the drop of tori sitting down to pull uke to one side and into the throw.
