Kuzure Kami Shiho Gatame

Kuzure-kami-shiho-gatame - Broken Upper Four Quarters

Kuzure-kami-shiho-gatame

Kuzure Kami Shiho Gatame - the only 'Kuzure' technique in Katame no Kata.

Kneel to one side of your partners head. Wrap the closest arm to you by moving your arm over their head, right around to hold onto their collar. Your other arm is to be placed under their shoulder as in Kami-shiho-gatame. Bring your knee furthest from the opponents head in, closing the gap that they could possibly escape from.
