Akitas Rayleigh Judo Club will be hosting a British Judo organised First Aid course suitable for candidates working towards the UKCC and Instructor Awards, and coaches needing to update their current award.

When?
The First Aid Course will start immediately after the usually Saturday line-up, 1pm until 5pm on Saturday 27th June 2009.
Where?
The course will be held at Akitas Rayleigh, Rayleigh Leisure Centre, Priory Chase, off Rawreth Lane, Rayleigh, Essex SS6 9NF.
Who?!
Anyone can attend. The course is directed to coaches that are working to awards, but will be suitable for any interested judoka.
The course is organised by the BJA and will be run by Terri Ann Elliott, 2nd Dan as detailed above.
Why?
Despite everything, accidents can happen in Judo. It is essential that coaches are familiar with aspects of First Aid should this situation arise. However, it is also an area that many people are interested in and want to be prepared for.
How (Much)?
The cost of the course is £30 for the full 4 hour course. Session fees for attendees of the first aid course will be dropped for Akitas Judo sessions that day. |
